At the December club meeting, members authorized an expenditure of $600 to purchase this new equipment and an antenna. The radio (nRSP-ST) and an active loop antenna were bought for $570 and with the help of Tom Shrilla, he and I installed at the repeater site.,,,,

TRAC will again offer an incentive to club members in good standing to “get off your butt” and get a licnese upgrade. Too many new hams get the Technician license, play around with comms and nets on 2m or 70cm for a few months, and then promptly loose interest in the hobby….

TARC partnered with this school in July 2024 to facilitate an ariss.org contact with the ISS. We trained up some students to get ham licenses and we helped them start a ham radio club by loaning them the equipment necessary to get started.
