Shark’s Tooth Festival

TARC has operated a special event station from the Festival every year since 2005 with exception of the COVID-19 pandemic years of 2020-2022. TARC will participate once again with Special Event Station K4S operating on SSB 14.320 Mhz and on the worldwide talk group of DMR. A 10×10 booth space on Venice Ave in front of City Hall has been reserved for our use.

This is your opportunity to be the center of the Ham Radio World! Local and DX stations will be looking to make a contact with you and earn a genuine fossil shark tooth QSL (with SASE of course).

We will be operating from 10 am local time until 5 pm local time on each day. We need volunteers to help set up, operate and tear down the station.

Frank W2XYZ will have a sign-up sheet at the 4/10/24 club meeting, and at all the breakfast meetings from 4/2/24 until 4/12/24. If you won’t make a meeting but want to get on the list, send me a private email. I am signing up 2 hour blocks.
