Shark’s Tooth Festival
Unfortunately, we were not able to get a space at the actual festival grounds in Centennial Park downtown for this event in 2026. The next best thing was to reserve space in Legacy Park:

TARC has operated a special event station from the Festival every year since 2005 with exception of the COVID-19 pandemic years of 2020-2022. TARC will participate once again with Special Event Station K4S operating on SSB 14.320 Mhz, on CW and other Digital modes, and on the worldwide talk group of DMR.
This is your opportunity to be the center of the Ham Radio World! Local and DX stations will be looking to make a contact with you and earn a genuine fossil shark tooth QSL (with SASE of course).
We will be operating from 10 am local time until 4 pm local time on each day. We need volunteers to help set up, operate and tear down the station. Club members can log in to Ham Club Online and look for this club event on the calendar where you can sign up online for an operating shift or to help set up and tear down club station equipment.
Frank W2XYZ will have a sign-up sheet at the March and April club meetings, and at all the breakfast meetings in April. If you won’t make a meeting but want to get on the list, send me a private email. I am signing up 2 hour blocks.
If you have any questions, let me know.
