It is traditional among police, fire, and other fraternal organizations that use radio as part of their day-to-day regime to be memorialized on the radio net that they used during their life time when they become an SK. For amateur radio operators that would be the local radio club’s net(s) used by the SK during their membership in the club. We ask all net control operators to please consider making an end-of-watch broadcast after the passing of any club member becomes known. The sample script to use is:

<preamble> We are saddened to announce the passing of <insert name and call> in <insert month>. <insert name> was a <club member> or <former club member> of TARC. I will now make an end-or-watch call to <insert name> in remembrance
