CQ the net. CQ the TARC 2 METER CHAT NET – This is YOUR CALL SIGN My name is YOUR NAME, I’ll be the net control station for this week’s net. Before we begin, are there any stations with emergency or priority traffic? [PAUSE TO LISTEN]
THE TAMIAMI AMATUER RADIO CLUB IS LOCATED IN VENICE, FLORIDA AND OUR 2 METER CHAT NET MEETS EVERY THURSDAY EVENING AT 7:30 PM ON THE CLUB’S 146.805 MHz REPEATER WITH A PL TONE OF 100 Hz TO EXCHANGE GREETINGS AND INFORMATION AMONG CLUB MEMBERS. ANY AMATUER, ANYWHERE IS WELCOME TO JOIN IN. THIS IS A DIRECTED NET.
FIRST I WILL BE TAKING CHECK INS FROM THOSE STATIONS WISHING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NET VIA ECHO LINK, FOLLOWED BY STATIONS USING THE LOCAL REPEATER SECOND.
PLEASE STATE YOUR CALLSIGN, NAME, AND LOCATION WHEN CHECKING IN. I WILL ACKNOWLEDGE EACH CHECK IN AS IT IS RECEIVED. AFTER ALL CHECK INS ARE COMPLETE, I WILL GO DOWN THE LIST OF CHECKED IN STATIONS ASKING FOR YOUR COMMENTS TO THE NET.
