C0DE PLUG for Anytone D868 or D878 Radios

UPDATED: 06/08/20. The contact database and some channel changes to include renaming the W4MO repeater to the W4AC repeater. Those of you owning an AnyTone D878 and wishing to update your radio with this new data should download the attached file. Use your Anytone CPS software and write it to your radio. When the software dialogue box pops up asking to write data to radio and gives you choices, check both boxes, “Digital Contact List” and “Other Data.”

POSTED: 9/6/2019 Several club members have recently bought Anytone radios (D868 or D878). Frank, W2XYZ, put together a generic codeplug that might be useful to those of us in Venice. It contains the three local DMR repeaters, several analog repeaters, and zones for DARN, weather, and a hotspot. The codeplug also contains data that allows it to use the “Roaming” feature (D878only) plus APRS and DPRS beaconing. Be sure to add your DMR ID and/or radio callsign in the following locations: 1. Public/Optional Settings/Power-on 2. Public/APRS (NOTE: You won’t see the APRS tab if APRS is not turned on under Tools/Options) 3. Digital/Radio ID List
