EMBROIDERED HATS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

This is a classic, on foot, fox hunt event where participants must locate 5 low power 2 meter micro-fox transmitters along a 3 to 5 kilometer course in the shortest time. Awards are made for FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD place finishers in each participant category. This is not a “sanctioned” event; but classic fox hunt rules published in the ARRL “USA Rules for Amateur Radio Direction Finding” will be followed to the extent possible. <RULES>.

Participants must pre-register for the event.

Check in is from 8:30 am to 11 am.

Never did a fox hunt before? NO PROBLEM! It is easy to learn and the equipment required is very basic and inexpensive. In fact, you don’t even need an FCC license to participate since all you do is receive a signal from the fox!
