Membership Update – Feb2025

TARC member’s annual dues ($25 individual or $30 family) are due on January 1st of each year and they are considered past due on March 1st. Members who have not paid their annual dues will be dropped from the club’s membership roster and Groups.io service, and they will no longer receive the club newsletter, The Communicator, after this date. You can pay by cash or check at any club meeting or event to any board member. You can also pay online at the TARC store webpage by clicking the following link: (https://tamiamiarc.org/ wp-easycart-parent/store/) using PayPal or any credit/debit card. And, you can always mail your check to TARC, PO Box 976, Nokomis, FL 342373.

For first year free members who joined TARC after getting their Technician license at a TARC VE session, the expiration of your free membership expired on 12/31/24 if you tested and joined TARC before October 1, 2024. If you joined as a free first year member on or after October 1, 2024 then your dues for 2025 are cosidered as paid for this year. If you are a new Technician class ham radio operator, why not consider upgrading to General class and take advanctage of the club’s “Get off your butt” upgrade incentive offer. Read the article in this month’s newsletter for details on the offer.

This might also be a great time to review your club membership records for any changes to address, phone, license class, call sign, or ARRL membership status. You can always view the complete club membership roster (and you own personal information) on the “Members Only” page of our website.
